Selecting a New Astra Roof Hose

When buying a new hose for your Astra convertible you need to take into consideration your specific conditions in order to make the right decision about the type of hose you need.  Below is a small list that should guide you through your decision.

Location

Where are you located?  Most of our customers in Sydney tell us that their Astra Hose stopped working on a hot day.  The temperature of your surroundings can directly influence how well or how long your Astra Hose will retain functionality.  Our Australian-made Astra hose is made specifically to withstand hot summers so you can expect a much longer life from our hoses.

Budget

How much are you willing to invest in your Astra convertible?  What are your future plans for this vehicle?  Our team at ALNO product services offer a range of Hydraulic hoses to suit the TS and AH Astra Convertibles and at a very reasonable cost.

Fitting

Will you be fitting the hose yourself? Or will you pay a mechanic to do it? Will you take it to the Holden dealer?  We understand that instructions on how to fit your Astra hose can be very difficult to find, that’s why we offer you assistance and can provide information coming from over 10 years of experience.

    Hi guys,

    I’m a newbie here..

I’m thinking of purchasing an Astra Convertible, but I’d like to know about the reliability. Could anyone of you please share your experiences with Astra
    Convertible, if any?

    Thanks guys

my sisters car is a holden astra TS model I dont know what year.

what is happening is well the interior roof lining has stated to come away from the roof, its not the hard bit that is fixed to the roof.

but the fabric that is on that, the stuff you see.

its still attached at the front and back and sides but in the middle of the car it hangs down about 150-200mm, how do I and what do I use(glue?) to reattach the fabric to the roof lining ?

I know I will prob have to take the whole thing out I can see the plugs/screws to take it down.

    anyone have ideas ?

I’ve never had a convertible car. I’ve had a friend who had but he was mostly driving is car between his garage and his work and didn’t really have any issues.

I always discuss convertible cars with my GF and she always tells me that it would be really silly to buy it as it limits your flexibility due to parking. So here are my questions:

    1) Is it possible for 2 people no kids to just have a convertible car? (no second car)

    2) Are they hard to steal? What about people slashing the roof?

    3) What happens when roof is damaged?

    4) Why do most new convertible car owners are old people? (surely youngsters who can afford an Astra TS convertible)

To the Team at ALNO thank you so much for getting my roof moving again.

Replacing cheap roof hose with quality roof hose

    It turns out

I had my Astra Convertible Roof set Hose replaced by Lonsdale Auto back in August 2014

Martin Claimed that he had purchased ALNO Australian made Roof Hose

Yet we were to find out the hard way that he had purchased low cost Chinese hose

We had paid over $2987 including fitting for hose that is worth less than
    $200.

After getting the hose replaced i opened and closed the roof 5-10 times not much then we started getting the stopping and starting half closing and half opening

Stopping and Starting then i took it back to Lonsdale Auto 3 times each time i took it there the problem seem to get worse.

It really looked like these guys were fitting roof hose for the first time fumbling around and all

    So unprofessional

    Fiona
